On A Personal Note Dr. Lammers and Susan met in 1970 while Susan was attending the University of Dayton. They were married in 1972 in Columbus, Ohio, lived for fifteen years in Nevada and Colorado and moved to Ocala, Florida in 1987. Dr. Lammers earned a Master of Science Degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1977, and received his DVM from Colorado State University in January, 1984. They have three children. Sean, Born in 1978, graduated from the University of Florida MBA program in Finance and  IT in December, 2003. He has been working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers since 2004 in Charlotte, NC. We have discovered what a great town Charlotte is. Neil, born in 1983, is a graduate of UCF in Orlando and is now working in Orlando. Courtney is now a third year student at UCF and could end up in the medical field. As with all parents we are proud of our children and what they have accomplished.

Susan graduated from the University of Dayton in 1972 and worked as a Hospital Social Worker and Guardian for the Aged for many years before taking over as the Office Manager of the clinic in 1987. There haven't been many tasks affiliated with animal care which she hasn't performed. As our staff has grown her major duties have become running the office and front desk.

We both enjoy running as a hobby and try to enter a number of races each year from the 5K to half marathon range. We do some hiking, mostly in Florida and SE Kentucky, and enjoy getting to the beach in St. Augustine whenever possible. Anastasia Island has become a second home for us.

Dr. Lammers is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. The Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the Local Marion Association. He stays current in his profession by subscribing to a number of Journals and enjoys attending various continuing education conferences each year. He is currently in training to become certified in small animal rehabilitation. This training should be completed in the coming year.

We are located at 5435 West Highway 40 about one and a quarter miles West of the I-75 overpass. The facility is in a brand new building. Look for our sign on the North side of West Highway 40.

Saturday	7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
